Geology and genealogy have a deep correlation when it comes to Patrick Feely, the owner of Natural Stone Design Gallery, who comes from 11 generations of experience in the Natural Stone Industry in Ireland. He has intimate knowledge of every step involved in the transformation of stone to tile, having worked in quarries, manufacturing facilities, and even retail and distribution centers throughout Europe. Throughout his years of experience, Patrick has developed an appreciation for stone in its raw form, and emphasizes bringing a balance between nature and utility when utilizing stone in the home. He leads his staff by example and furnishes an environment where team members have freedom to utilize their strongest assets and express themselves. On the rare occasion that Patrick is not working, he enjoys outdoor activities with his family, including traveling, hiking, and camping. As with every other day, on Sunday mornings, Patrick can be found meditating, embracing a few moments of stillness before he seizes the day!

A graduate of CSU Sacramento with a degree in Interior Design and Marketing, Kersten brings her client’s project visions to life as a resident designer at NSDG. While helping clients design their spaces, Kersten shares her knowledge of products and enjoys educating them on material selections. Kersten values making important connections with colleagues and clients alike. She delights in being an active listener and feels that truly hearing and identifying her clients wants and needs are key in good design that last for years and years. When away from creating timeless spaces for her clients, Kersten loves to sew and dabbles in costume design. She loves to travel and to spend time with her husband, friends, and family. On Sunday mornings, Kersten can be found curled up on the couch reading with a wonderfully aromatic, freshly brewed cup of tea in hand.

Sara is the Team Lead at NSDG. She has 15+ years of industry experience working in sales and estimating roles as well as account and project management. She has worked for both residential and commercial contractors and stone fabricators and most recently worked for Walker Zanger in the SF Bay Area. She feels that Natural Stone Design Gallery is truly unique in that it serves as a “one stop shop” for all things tile and stone. Homeowners, Designers, and Contractors alike can source their tile and stone project needs at one location. From Schluter to sundries, marble to mosaics, NSD Gallery has it all in one place! Architects and Commercial Specifiers can utilize NSDG to purchase all of their favorite brands! When she’s not at work, Sara is happiest sharing laughter and savoring moments with her 2 children and their Shorkiepoo, Lulu. On Sunday mornings, you can find her curled up with a good book and a lavender latte before the rest of the house wakes up… Sara’s calm before the storm.

Although serving primarily as Natural Stone Design Gallery’s purchasing lead, Lea’s abundance of talents has transitioned her into NSDG’s in-house wonder woman in her tenure. She is tech savvy, skilled in multiple software platforms, and customer service driven. Her dynamic and enthusiastic spirit shines bright in her interactions with clients, colleagues, and vendors alike. Her positivity is contagious and her passion for people is best displayed in her thoughtfulness and exceptional service to others. Outside of the gallery, Lea enjoys baking vegan muffins and hanging with her dog, Laney. On Sunday mornings, Lea can be found enjoying a delicious acai bowl with a side of kindness.

With ample customer service experience and a love for learning and creating, Claudia, a recent graduate of interior architecture and design, brings warmth and vibrant flare to the design team at NSDG. An ardent crafter and true artisan, Claudia brings her innovative energy to each of her designs. She loves to explore her creativity by playing with the limitless tile options showcased at Natural Stone Design Gallery. Claudia enjoys working at NSDG and is particularly fond of the opportunity to learn from other design professionals as her own aesthetic and design education continues to flourish. Originally from Lima, Peru, Claudia’s bilingual vocabulary allows NSD Gallery to better serve our spanish speaking clientele. On Sunday mornings, Claudia finds joy in utilizing her Cricut machine to make mixed media magic with cardstock, foil, and leather galore!

With a discerning eye for texture and tone, Morgen brings creative warmth and thoughtful precision to the design team at Natural Stone Design Gallery. As an interior designer, social media manager, and architectural and commercial assistant, she delights in helping clients discover the perfect blend of tile and stone to bring their vision to life. Armed with a background in interior design, merchandising, and home staging, Morgen layers color, pattern, and material to create spaces that feel both refined and deeply personal. Her patience and attention to detail ensure that each selection reflects balance and beauty, while her upbeat personality fills the gallery with positivity and inspiration. When she’s not immersed in the world of stone and design, Morgen finds comfort curled up with her two cats, savoring a quiet Sunday morning.

A homegrown Sacramento illustrator and artist, Kyle Mitzel bestows his keen eye for color and movement by curating our exquisite slab gallery. With a rich background in sales, art, and retail management, Kyle wonderfully facilitates our slab sales while creating breathtaking vignettes that play on warm and cool tones, light and dark hues. Kyle shares his vision with clients and colleagues alike: Cristallo quartzite beautifully illuminated by natural sunlight pouring in from an open warehouse door not only showcases the majesty of a backlit stone, but reminds us of Kyle’s (and the earth’s) own artistry. A lover of the outdoors, Kyle can usually be found in a quiet spot drawing or journaling after a long hike on a Sunday morning.

With a natural ease and an eye for balance, Brayam brings skill and enthusiasm to his role as a tile and stone sales associate at Natural Stone Design Gallery. His hands-on experience in slab yards has given him a deep understanding of solid surfaces and an appreciation for the craftsmanship that shapes each piece.Brayam finds fulfillment in helping clients transform inspiration into reality—guiding them toward materials that are as functional as they are beautiful. Known for his friendly professionalism, efficiency, and drive, he ensures every experience in the gallery feels effortless and inspiring. On a Sunday morning, you can find Brayam enjoying time outdoors and taking in nature’s quiet beauty.

The array of products housed at Natural Stone Design Gallery has perhaps only one characteristic that parallels its beauty… its weight! Natural Stone Slab in particular is perhaps one of mother nature’s most majestic gifts, but staging them for viewing is not the easiest feat. Fortunately for NSDG, Gabe conducts this task with precision and ease and has done so for almost a decade. With a Cali-cool swag and a courteous demeanor, Gabe showcases his helpfulness by bouncing back and forth between tile and slab warehouses lending his skills to coworkers and customers. On Sunday mornings, Gabe enjoys relaxing at home, a much warranted break from a week of heavy lifting!

In addition to always lending a helping hand in our tile and slab warehouses, Jorge also serves as Natural Stone Design Gallery’s driver. Jorge handles our slab deliveries throughout the Greater Sacramento region and also conducts weekly runs to and from the Bay Area. He executes tasks with ease and efficiency and a contagious smile. Jorge feels our ability to bring customer’s vision to life is what makes NSDG a special place. He values his contribution to our clients’ finished spaces, a welcoming sanctuary to call home. While away from work (and off the road), Jorge enjoys spending time with his family and friends. On Sunday mornings, he can be found relaxing at home or out for a hike.

With an easy wit and a talent for teamwork, Abdul brings positivity and drive to the Natural Stone Design Gallery team. Known for his productivity and friendly spirit, he enjoys connecting with clients and colleagues alike—always ready to lend a hand and brighten the day with good humor. Abdul is an essential part of NSDG’s collaborative environment, where the supportive team dynamic fuels his passion for helping people. Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter, and can often be found kicking a soccer ball or sharing a peaceful Sunday morning with his family.
